Melinda is the founder and creative director of OrangeRoc. Her business acumen, education, and entrepreneurial edge combined with her boundless energy and creative passion has pioneered her career in advertising and marketing.
With opportunities to live and work in California, North Carolina, Atlanta, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Tokyo, she’s developed a broad, cross cultural perspective of demographics, consumer behavior and responses. Melinda fully immerses herself in clients’ goals before marketing their products and services. This allows her to position every project analytically and tactically to inspire consumer emotion and action.
As the founder and owner of two firms, OrangeRoc in Hawaii and Danhausen Group in Southern California, Melinda has created one-of-a-kind branding and positioning for notable clients over the last 20 years including Black and Decker, The Fairmont Orchid, Locations, Bodhtree Solutions, Brookfield Homes, Tomy Toys, C4 Waterman, Hawaii Central Credit Union, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Geobunga and many more.
Utilizing her robust experience with corporate brands, Katherine brings her high-caliber visual, conceptual and design skills to the table while collaborating with clients to create a distinct and pictorial message. Former clients include Frigidaire, Electrolux, Michelin, Pella Windows and Doors, State Farm Insurance and Quick Step Flooring to name a few.
Katherine enjoys bridging the relationship from marketing plans to creative initiatives and her artistry and inventive talents are apparent to clients. Always willing to help out the team, Katherine can often be found outside of the office – taking photos, managing creative production, or lending a hand to help out at an event. She stewards the big ideas as well as the execution across print, digital and social media platforms
Robin designs and executes impactful print and digital content for a wide range of multi-channel initiatives. Her strengths lie in her ability to see the big picture while simultaneously paying attention to the smallest details. This allows her to not only capture our client’s message, but to deliver it with clarity and emotion.
Her multidisciplinary design experience has set her as a driving force behind many of our clients’ brands and image development including Locations, Molokai Ranch, Mental Health America of Hawaii, Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation, Family Programs Hawaii, Hawaii Catholic Schools and many more.
Born in Singapore and raised on the Big Island, Lauren combines eastern culture with western education to bring an international flair to the office. Her thoughtful, forward-thinking approach to the visual arts complements the goals and objectives of our clients.
Lauren brings her high-caliber visual, conceptual, and design skills to the table while collaborating with clients to create a distinct and pictorial message. She is innately aware that creativity is not just about concepts and colors, but also recognizing that small details add up to be impactful elements. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has become a peer mentor to some new graduates and those seeking a career in graphic design.
With a passion for all things artistic, Cristina puts her visual talents to use as one of OrangeRoc’s graphic designers. She’s an integral part of the creative team with her alluring design skills and personal touch. Cristina bridges the gap between design and marketing utilizing her design skills mastering templates for clients’ identity systems.
Cristina recognizes that a huge part of OrangeRoc’s success is not only within our internal team, but also to all our vendors. She works closely with vendors to foster strong relationships that will be mutually beneficial for all parties.
