The Hawaii Advertising Federation held its annual Pele Awards, honoring the year’s best creative work in advertising, marketing and design produced in the state of Hawaii. At this year’s ceremony, OrangeRoc, was honored with 5 awards for work produced for a diverse group of clients with a wide range of communication needs.
One Pele Award was for a tradeshow booth and collateral for full custom hunting rifle manufacturer Kilimanjaro Rifles. OrangeRoc helped launch Kilimanjaro Rifles about a year ago and has been integral in producing everything from branding, logos, event displays, brochures, apparel and advertising. read more

College Connections Hawaii announced the completion of a rebranding campaign and launch of a new streamlined and better functioning website designed to make registering for classes and tutoring as well as applying for jobs as a tutor or test prep instructor simple and easy. The push to increase College Connections’ awareness is partly in response to the recent downturn in the economy that has affected all levels of society including state funding for education. More and more nonprofits are being asked to take on societies most important work and that includes educating our children. College Connections Hawaii plays a vital role by filling the gaps left by a budget ravaged state education system and also helps create a positive social impact by helping Hawaii’s students realize their dreams of succeeding in school and attending college.read more

(Honolulu, HI – September 17, 2009) - The 2009 Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF) will unveil its program guide and much-anticipated trailer at a special sneak peek screening of the martial arts biopic from China IP MAN, starring international superstar Donnie Yen. The screening is being held two weeks prior to the festival’s start on Wednesday, September 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18 Cinemas. On May 25, 2009, Friends of the Missing Child Center– Hawaii will officially launch a new website created by Honolulu marketing firm, OrangeRoc. The website is an excellent resource for Hawaii's parents and children, providing helpful information about how to stay safe in the physical and online worlds. It provides tips for preventing child abduction and what to do in case children find themselves in unsafe circumstances. It also provides advice for parents and families who are struggling with a child who has gone missing as well as a calendar of events for their FREE Keiki ID Program. read more
